LG전자의 전략 프리미엄 스마트폰 ‘LG V10’이 외신으로부터 잇단 호평을 받고 있다.

4일 LG전자에 따르면 외신들은 세계 최초로 ‘듀얼 전면 카메라’와 ‘세컨드 스크린’을 탑재한 ‘LG V10’의 강화된 비주얼(Visual) 관련 기능에 박수를 보냈다.

‘매셔블(Mashable)’은 “LG V10는 세계 최초 울트라폰이라 하기에 손색이 없다(It’s fair to call LG’s V10 the world’s first Ultra Phone)”이라 치켜 세웠고, “울트라 와이드 셀피를 위한 2개의 500만화소 전면 카메라와 프로 급 비디오촬영 기능을 갖췄다(There’s the V10’s two front-facing 5-megapixel cameras for ultra-wide selfies. The camera’s got a pro-grade manual mode for video recording)”라고 호평했다.

‘더 버지(The Verge)’는 “서로 다른 시야각을 제공하는 2개의 500만화소 전면 카메라는 당신이 셀카봉을 사용하는 일이 없도록 할 것(The two 5-megapixel cameras and their different views should help you never need to use a selfie stick again)”이라며, 듀얼 전면카메라 기능을 인정했다.

‘안드로이드 어소리티(Android Authority)’는 “LG V10 카메라에 절대 실망할 일은 없을 것. 카메라 매니아들은 V10의 한 차원 높은 카메라 기능을 특히 좋아할 것(You won’t be disappointed with the LG V10 camera. Camera enthusiasts will especially like the high level of control the camera app offers)”이라며, “올해 출시된 제품 가운데 가장 유니크한 스마트폰. 매력적이고, 혁신적이고, 매우 강력하다(So far it’s looking to be one of the most unique devices of 2015. It is rugged, innovative and very powerful)”라고 호평했다.

‘기즈모도(Gizmodo)’는 “LG V10은 매달 쏟아져 나오는 스마트폰과는 완전히 다른 인상적인 제품(What I love about the V10 is that it’s something different than the endless parade of slab phones we tend to see month after month after month. That’s impressive)”이라며, “120도와 80도 렌즈의 조합으로 믿을 수 없을 정도의 넓은 화각의 셀피를 찍을 수 있게 됐다(The 120-degree and 80-degree lens combine to shoot incredibly wide-angled selfies)”라고 평가했다.

외신들은 세계 최초로 스테인리스 스틸, 실리콘 등의 신소재를 적용한 ‘LG V10’의 강한 내구성에도 높은 점수를 줬다.

‘폰 아레나(Phone Arena)’는 “LG V10은 충격을 흡수하는 스테인리스 스틸 316L을 적용했고, 이 회복력 강한 소재는 견고한 느낌을 전달한다(The handset is comprised out of a 316L stainless steel frame meant to absorb impact, and resilient Dura Guard material that gives it a solid sense of texture)”라며 호평했다.
